Superb Staffordshire dated slipware loving cup 18thcentury tinglazed

A rare English slipware loving cup

Staffordshire 1753

14cm tall and 19cm across the handles

Dated to front panel and named WP to the reverse front and rear panel decorated with a slip trailed tulip and roundel decoration with white raised dots peppering the decoration , small handles have pressed decorations into the clay at the bottom terminals

Condition is faultless it does have some minor glaze loss to the extremes and some burst glaze bubbles from the time of manufacture otherwise with no cracks , or restorations
