A superb and early deruta wet drug jar 1580-1620

Wide strap handle and manufactured in the early squat form

Rich polychrome decoration with a radial reef of flowers and fruits to the outer limits the cartouche decorated with the drug name and initials below—-IN—- within a heart shaped motif

21cm tall and 17cm at its widest

Condition is fabulous it has no cracks or restoration just the usual fritting to the glaze and edges and a little glaze loss to the front panel but please bear in mind this is 450 years old
