A superb English beadwork picture circa 1660

Wonderful composition and worked in Murano glass Beads The Two figures stand opposite each other one holding a sheath of corn and the other holding a spray of flowers both figures standing on a grassy mound. It is beautifully worked with a one eyed rabbit standing in the foreground with a sheep butterflies, insects, and a dog which has the owners initials above his head. MH

Size is 50 cm wide and 45 cm tall, including the frame

Condition is excellent given it great age a few losses to the beads and a small tear above the dogs’s head but all very minor framed and ready to hang
